While I appreciate Treyarch taking the criticism on the chin & this being the 1st time in history Treyarch listened to zombies feedback pre-launch, the expectations shouldn’t be too high for Liberty Falls’ changes. The “it’s an early build” argument is the same exact argument used during the betas of games like Fallout 76, Battlefield 2042 & so on. There’s no games in the past 5 years where they go “it’s an early build” this close to launch & actually live up to that statement.
These maps go through a long pipeline of research, concept art, design docs, extensive playtesting, etc…, if they had an eerie atmosphere planned, it would’ve been there & not held back during the marketing phase out of all times possible. COD has always oversold their games & now is the time they chose to be humble?
They had 2 months to edit the map itself & I don’t doubt EE’s play a big role in the atmosphere in the map the same way it’s had for levels like Tag der Toten. But we just have to wait til the game is truly in our hands before jumping to the conclusions this sub has.

Imma be real the map looked whatever but I was chill with it the changes I would want would be in layout wise not aesthetical. My main issue is gonna be the core gp loop .

i mean yeah they aint gonna completely redesign the map, its prob gonna have a different skybox and be more dark out
