Yep, those pins are bent for sure. Do you know if you’ve accidentally hit them, or if it came this way ?
I would try to return it. Fixing this would be quite tricky and a boulevard to fuck it up even more.

Usually (or maybe only on high end cards) there’s a plastic cover on top when the moba is new specifically to avoid this
Demented1971
It should have come with a plastic socket cover. If it didn’t and was new, I’d try to get a refund/replacement.
If it did come with it, and was damaged by yourself, you’re probably S.O.L.
Legitimate_Earth_
How did you manage that?
PetroMan43
Linus tech tips has a few videos about this recently. It’s in the realm of being fixable, so maybe think about it

Never ceases to amaze me when people aren’t careful handling $250 parts. Fuckin butterfingers
Initial_Suspect7824
Yes you fucked up.
SoDrunkRightNow4
When I see these pictures, I always wonder what happened. Did OP remove the socket cover and smash it with a stick or what?
“Did I just fucked up”
The worst thing about this is you know he’s going to try to get an RMA. Imagine the email.
*Hi, yes my motherboard arrived damaged. The pins all magically bent themselves. I definitely didn’t hit it with a stick. Plz send replacement, thanks. Oh, and be sure to increase the prices of all your other products to compensate for it!*

Ouch. Rip

From this angle it looks like the pins are “just bend up”. Please take another picture from 90° to the loft or right. Maybe you can “just” bend them back down.
Please take one or two other pictures from different angles. Those could be really helpful.

You have 5 bent pins might be able to fix them at a computer store.

“Did I just fuck up?”
“Why is it like that”?
Either you fucked it up or it came like that, but going on the way you said it, I am going to assume that yes you indeed did fuck it up, if so bend them back very carefully, if not then RMA.
Ddumberdog
Bent pin allert, get some sewing needles a magnifying lens and try to rescue it, otherwise u may be on the lookout for a new mobo☹️
BennieOkill360
hahaha be more careful next time lel

Salvageable with a toothpick, a magnifying glass and a strady hand… preferably not belonging to the one that caused this.
Pro4791
Did it come without the cover on the socket? If there was no socket cover when you bought it then it was someone else’s fuckup.
No_Diver3540
And it is gone. Either you try to get a refund or replacement. If that is of the charts, try to bend them back into position, but be extremely careful, they break easily.
Next time, be more careful and calm. This will save you money.

There are services for fixing pins that can fix bent socket pins fairly reasonably.
Lime7ime-
Mine looked the same and worked without problems, but to be safe I swapped it anyways
DctrGizmo
Did you use smash it in or something? It’s probably busted.
centuryt91
and this is why you have to read the manuals guys
pierogieking412
Yo try using a mechanical pencil to straighten them. Actually makes the job relatively easy.
zombie9393
Not SOL.
I’ve fixed motherboards with worse bends. You’ll need an ultra fine pick of some kind and I’d recommend using a cell phone camera to zoom in on the pins while you bend them back.
At the most, they just need to be lifted very slightly and very carefully. They just need to make contact with the appropriate section of the CPU.
