In CS2 they made the whole radar translucent. It would be a lot more logical to make the map itself 100% opacity and the background translucent like in Valorant.

No , no translucent anything please. The dogshit tab menu being translucent probably fucks up the fps. Imagine if the map which is constantly there will probably ultra fuck the fps

The only and best solution for this is to let the player have the option to choose for themselves. But it shouldn’t end like the Valo Crosshair Menu, which was (and still is) really confusing due to the sheer mass of possibilities.

Your eyes arent fixated on this area during live gameplay. Only when needing quick information from it the mini-map should become legible.

I actually like this idea. Perhaps have some more options for the minimap so that people can customize it the way they want.
