I bought a faulty RTX 3060 Ventus 2X OC 12GB and I am trying to troubleshoot it. Initially, the card was displaying artifacts, and I realised it was showing up as an RTX 3060 Ti, so I figured it could be the cause.
Using nvflashk, I managed to bypass the ID mismatch error when trying to flash the original BIOS. However, I get the error below:
The EEPROM on this device is too small to support this firmware update
I noticed that the 3060 Ti BIOS is less than 1 MB in size, while the 3060 BIOS is 2 MB. I tested flashing another 3060 Ti BIOS and that worked fine. A 3060 Laptop BIOS also worked fine, but that made the card not work at all.
Any ideas how to flash the correct BIOS?
