On my first playthrough I always paid because I was sure that it could cause something bad to happen if I didn’t, and if it was a scam I could just kill the guy.
But after seeing he was legit, I really cannot bring myself to not pay him. Especially when my bank account can pay off the entire debt of the NUSA.
