As much as I love cold War, I wish the maps were more exciting
Bo4 had maps in sick ass locations and cold War is just campaign places lol. Cold War is still really fun tho and I do enjoy the maps, but the settings could’ve been cooler

Of the ones I’ve played, Black Ops 3 Origins and Verruckt… The Black Ops 3 Engine sucks as is, but put it on maps that already have very little breathing room just exposes the flaws of the engine and makes the experience much worse than it has to be

I’ve only played Waw-Bo4, and I’ve had good times on pretty much every one of those maps EXCEPT 2
Alpha Omega and Tag Der Toten
They feel so lazy and uninspired, and frankly I just can’t find any enjoyable qualities for some reason.

For the first one, Der Anfang. Doesn’t even come close. Otherwise, Origins. I know most list it as one of the best, but outside Primus and it’s ending I’ve never liked it.

Der Anfang is an afterthought of a map that can only achieve a mild amount of fun because of a single factor – Vanguard’s weaponset is pretty good. If you gave the map BO4 guns, it’d be unplayable garbage.
Speaking of BO4, Tag der Toten is also a miserable rushjob of a map renake, which is made even dumber because they ended the story with it.
As much as I dislike Infection, Treyarch still has the biggest flops on record overall. Way more great maps than bad, but still worth noting.

I’m not going to count der an fang because it isn’t round based and it’s obviously the worst.
Fire bas z and foreskin are equally as bad as each other and I consider them to Be worse then tranzit or die rise.
Tranzit is still fun and challenging, fire base and foreskin are not at all meaning that the gameplay loop is absent.
Tranzit has atmosphere, you can say it’s ugly but it still has atmosphere. Gta 4 is ugly and is one of the greatest games of all time.
There is way too much special enemy spam in foreskin and firebase, it feels like a different game entirely.
