this is not the pc’s issue it’s clearly a bug. did fresh install but nothing changed

I think changing the resolution causes this. You also lose proper mouse tracking in game and have to restart the game
Saladino_93
Do you use a custom resolution (in your GPU driver) for the 4:3 resolution or did you just change it in game?
If you don’t use a custom resolution create one. If you use one check if its set up correctly. There are videos out there on how to do it with different GPU vendors (Nvidia, AMD, Intel).

This is a bug I’ve had in the past multiple times, it’s basically the aspect ratio being of center since you are playing on non-native resolution in terms of your monitor.
The fix is stupid dumb, just hit your enter key when the bug happens, if that doesn’t work go into your video settings and hit the enter button. You should see that this is almost like confirming a resolution change as the screen will adjust.
This bug should also always be noticeable as soon as you launch the game if you have a 2nd monitor, as there should be a black box bleeding into your 2nd monitor. This should indicate to you to just press enter as soon as the game loads the main menu and it should fix it.

Same happens with me. I have to restart the game to fix the sensitivity. If you find a fix, please let me know.

CS2 is being awkward with 4:3 resolutions (or any non-native ones i think).
i_shit_on_my_hand69

hurzinator

Press alt+enter a couple times and its fine
DeadyDeadshot
I’ve had it a while back, it’s from having monitor alignment issues from the second monitor.
For me it was because the monitor was “intruding” till I popped it to the other side and it never came again.

Make your desktop resolution same as in cs2
