    titan pricing never went away. it just got renamed into XX90.

    heck the 4080 now costs as much or more than what Titan cards used to cost

    See the issue that Nvidia created was taking away a few Titan specific features but for the most part the xx90 series IS the Titan series. We don’t have a GTX 1090 ti but a Titan X. Stupid? Yes but that’s how Nvidia is and especially marketing

  4. The GTX TITAN launched at $999 in 2013.

    That would be a very convenient $1,349.95 in 2024.

    The 3090 has effectively been a Titan card and the gens afterwards seem quite similiar. It’s just marketing, and the fact that you didn’t realise that for 30 and 40 series just shows that their marketing indeed worked.
