Just remake the game on the new engine already.

  2. SpitefulBrains

Damn.. I had lost all hopes. Now only hope it would run on my system xD

I loved this game!!! I played it so many times on my xbox 360 back in the day, it’s been years since I’ve played it, think I’ll get it but not right now, I’ll wait for a price drop and play it on my old 360 until it’s cheaper. I bet it’s gonna be around £60/70 for a port lol.

  4. TheBoobSpecialist

Wonder if they outsourced it the way they did with GTA trilogy.

  5. lifestrashTTD

Very unfortunate that there will be no multiplayer, I had so much fun in both the original games multiplayer and the undead nightmare.

The fact that the spec requirement are high can indicate that it`ll be a bad port…or the dream of rdr1 with rdr2 engine?

  7. Rukasu17

Recommended (corrected from min) requirements is a… GTX 2070?

  8. Watch RockStar release it full-priced for outdated graphics.

They could have at least released a Remake!

  9. mango_manreddit

I literally just set up an emulator 😑

I thought after almost 15 years they would be making a remake but anyway ill play it cuz i loved RDR2

  11. Valoneria

Oh i’ll finally be able to play it.

Not that i don’t own a PS3 and the game already, but it was such a laggy mess on my console that i just gave up trying to play it. FPS was sub-20 for the hour or so i played.

Who cares? Why do the sychophants take up so much development time? Make something new.

Thank god i never played RDR2, now I can play like they were meant to…jk another steam game that ill buy and not play

  15. hope it’s nothing like the gta definitive edition.

  16. WolfVidya

Considering rockstar they surely pretend to sell it full price, so it’ll have to wait.

  17. H3LLGHa5T

For the low price of 69,99 $ for a 15 year old game. Nah.

  18. Liferescripted

Can’t wait for mod support. 4k textures, ENB, foliage overhaul, RT for those who can… Could make this worth the repurchase.

Judging by the trailer, it looks like a straight port. Knowing Rockstar it will be a buggy mess and probably run terribly, especially considering this is built on the same RAGE engine that GTA4 was.

Hopefully they either fixed the engine during the port over, or gave it Vulkan support from the onset so we don’t have to patch in DXVK to bandaid it like GTA4.

Good on then adding ultrawide support. But considering their track record, I wiukd not be surprised if it’s released at full price…

  21. SecretInfluencer

And Arthur Morgan fanboys will hate it.

    “No arthur = bad game”

  22. Palorrian

Arrrrrrrr 60 dolores you say? Arrrr let me get my rhum

  23. WhosCeejayReyes

Took 15 yrs and will less likely take 1 week before optimus prime to show up in the game

  24. Brilliant_Curve6277

Great, hopefully the old RDR1 multiplayer can be modded in since I heard it’s much better than RDR2s online.

  25. Signal-Reporter-1391

Probably still needs Rockstar Social Club Membership and will link the Steam Account to an existing Rockstar account?

  26. 6even6ign6

I hope they didn’t really touch gameplay and it was just a remaster. The only thing I really liked about rdr2 more was the hunting and fishing really. For me John’s end was more devastating.
