I’m interested to see how they make it work without everyone saying it’s copy paste. I feel like a derelict ship would be too similar so a colony would be better. Maybe include chase sequences, safe zones and ways to combat being sensed or throw able objects to move xenos. The story can be great but assuming it’s $70, they’d need to enhance the game in some manner to justify its price.

Man I’ve been hoping for this sequel for years.
Hands down it is one of the best games of the last gen. It runs a bit long toward the end, but the game is still just a fun and great experience.
Loved it so much I bought it 3 times, and got all the achievements/trophies on X360, XOne, and PS4. Only game I’ve ever played through 6 times all the way.

About damn time. The game’s quite interesting in that the majority of the story has Alien vibes, and then the last quarter embraces Aliens with a bit of hectic mayhem. Will the sequel escalate things even more or repeat the same atmosphere as the first?
Also, will we see any innovations to the alien AI that was so fun and scary way back in 2014?
btw, why is AI in games so dull in this era? Why has there seemingly been so little evolution on that front? Graphics are fine now, so its time to focus on better AI for all genres, racing games, action, etc.
The last game that impressed me with its enemy AI was Last of Us 2 weirdly enough.

Can we hope for it to be a couple hours shorter than Isolation? I felt it started to drag on toward the end and made the Alien interactions a bit monotonous. These kinds of games are better off shorter due to repetition imo.
