To me Ultimis Takeo always seemed like he was overshadowed. I think the reason why is because he's not as loud or crazy as compared to the rest of the Ultimis Crew.
Another issue is that his personality is more one dimensional than the rest of the crew. They only ever really gave him lines about honor or the emperor and nothing besides that. BO4 gave him a lot better lines though.
Most zombies fans like him but he probably isn't their favorite character.

I love them all but Ultimis Takeo is probably in last place.
I have definitely really grown to love Ultimis Takeo over the years. We took my man for granted at the time lol. When Tom Kane (his voice actor) had a stroke and retired, that was like when Charlie the drummer of the Rolling Stones died for me. The first of the beloved four to leave us.
I feel like Tom Kane took a lot of inspiration from martial arts legend Sonny Chiba, particularly his character Hattori Hanzo from Kill Bill. they have a nearly identical accent, and Takeo says “Veeeerryyy Gooooood” in the same way lol.
I thought Ultimis Takeo speech was limited because of all the experimentations by Richthofen
Will always appreciate that Ultimis Nik, Dempsey and Richytichytavi are pure comedic lines, and Takeo is the serious one. He’s the most serious for both Primis and Ultimis.

Takeo always brings the boom! It is why he is so popular!
