I mean, yesterday's update would have been received with much more community appreciation if Valve had released these maps, which seemed almost finished, a year and a half ago. Its really disappointing how they were teased but never released

Does anyone really care about any of these besides Train? And I wasn’t a fan of Train either, so I’m actually happy that it’s gone.

You have a very optimistic view of this community if you think releasing Train would’ve satisfied them. People would still be complaining about how this update is mostly about skins, and that there aren’t enough game changes, and that the game is poorly optimized, and that there are cheaters, and that subtick is bad. People are incapable of appreciating updates in isolation. Unless an update miraculously fixes all of the game’s problems at once, there will always be a lot of criticism with every new one that drops.
God I miss Lake, the only wingman map where I can be myself
Because valve is worth 7 Billion. That isn’t enough to hire more developers and create new content. Hopefully train by 2026

Lake probably runs at .5 fps on the floor of all settings if someone goes into the water. (Valve should do a lower water frozen version to avoid it)
It’s kinda awkward but, long story short, I work at valve and I accidentally deleted the New Maps folder. But I kept the New Skins folder intact, so stop complaining.
