Call of Duty: Zombies

BO3 Impossible Easter Egg Hunt Progress/Notes/ Screenshots

I tried to let people know about my research regarding the impossible Easter egg on bo3. I read over 400 comments, watched some videos, and replied to some posts. I also did some in-game research myself and didn't hear back from the community. Have people already given up, given bo6 is less than a month away, but I want to solve this egg before moving on.

People are STUCK on the KN44, hypercube, and other things that may not make sense yet because maybe they're jumping to conclusions right away, so I'm not discrediting anything, yet. But here are my findings.

The first thing I looked at was the data vault in the campaign menu.

I found something in Morse code that may be of interest in finally putting this egg to rest. The Morse code reads: "THE INFORMATION BELOW IS CRITICAL TO YOUR KNOWLEDGE. CORDIS DIE IS MY ONE TRUE MASTER. I SERVE ONLY TO EXPOSE THE TRUTH. DEATH IS NOT THE FINAL CHAPTER. THE IMPERIALISTS HAVE FOUND US. FLEE WHILE YOU CAN. GO TO THE CITY OF WALCOURT FOR MORE INFORMATION. THERE YOU WILL FIND A MARKET. SEEK OUT THE MAN WITH THE RED SCARF AND TELL HIM "THE GIANT HAS RISEN." MORE INFORMATION WILL FOLLOW."

(A) How I got to this result (if you want to check it out for yourself):

Step 1: go in the computer on bo3 campaign, click on codex. On the homepage (should say CIA at the top), scroll all the way down, you'll see "Data-scrape of the week" click that

Step 2: scroll all the way down and click on "Thread Count"

Step 3: click on "The Truth Depot"

Step 4: scroll all the way down to ElGiganteX4's comment about making $84.00 an hour and click on "click here" (notice the 4 in "ElGiganteX4" and also the 4 in "$84.00")

Step 5: it will say [THANK YOU FOR JOINING – DRUON INTERNATIONAL] but just press A (on xbox) or X (on ps)

Step 6: you'll see "Xx_drUON_Antigoon_xX For immediate release May 4 2031. Then some other text. And after that is 2 separate sets of Morse code. If you click on either of them. There is more Morse code.

(B) My thoughts: Druon is an underground hacker collective in bo3, they're based in Belgium. While its total membership is unknown, various intelligence agencies have estimated that it consists of 50 to 100 members, with a mixture of Grey hat and Black hat hackers. Its members are presumed to be based in or around Western Europe, with its leadership probably based in the Belgian city of Antwerp.

The group's name comes from the legend of Druon Antigoon, a mythical giant that inhabited ancient Antwerp (like Druon themselves). According to the local legend, the giant charged a hefty toll to cross the river Schedlt. If the toll was not paid the giant severed the hands of those who refused and threw them into the river below. The poster's name is ElGiganteX4 which literally translates to 'The Giant X4' in Spanish. Man in the red scarf could possibly be Dr. Monty. "Death is not the final chapter" definitely, in my opinion, references zombies.

I had to follow the breadcrumbs, diving down the rabbit hole, I discovered a second clue.

I wanted to see if there was a market anywhere on any of the maps, specifically the campaign. So my first clue was "the city of Walcourt. This is an actual city in Germany (Germans please correct me if I'm wrong). The giant lore is actually true. The giant, named druon, was a real giant, and antigoon, is the hero, he faced the giant and cut one if it's hands off and threw it in the river. The city of Walcourt even has a hand in it's coat of arms.

So i tried to find Walcourt in the game, but no luck. So I thought, "maybe they were just trying to reference Germany" and I found 2 maps in the campaign missions that take place in Germany. The first one, which is the last mission, ironically, was 'Life' which takes place in Zurich, but I had no luck finding a man in a red scarf or any markets.

I then did some more reading, I found someone's post from 9 years ago referencing Nikolai's memory trailer which shows a house. This same house is in the campaign on the mission 'Demon Within' and zombies literally attack you right before you have to complete the mission. Before the zombies part, however, is a memory of the battle of Bastogne. I found a dead guy, with a red scarf, and the KN-44 was right next to him.

When the zombies started attacking me, I didn't have enough time to explore the entire house because half of it catches on fire and you can't re-explore that area. But what I did find were a bunch of documents on the floor as well as a gramophone sitting on a table. The documents are barely discernable but I took screenshots of them.
Here are my best attempts at taking screenshots of the documents:

I also found a few other possible clues:
You can view them here:

(a) this screenshot looks like a red scarf on a table which was kind of next to the gramophone: https://www.xbox.com/play/media/LyHye6e4P5

(b) this screenshot looks possibly similar to the planetary orbits on the KN44 hypercube blueprint: https://www.xbox.com/play/media/pjLxuX8xWy

(c) this screenshot appears to be a light or maybe a portal emitting device (notice the X4) and it also says lumens: 12,000 temp: 6,500) which you can find under the KN-44 facts if you go the data vault under weapons.

– sidenote, if you'd like to find this reference, here's a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: go in the computer on bo3 campaign. Go to weapons.

Step 2: click on KN-44

Step 3: click on "KN Weapon platform"

Step 4: click on "locally manufactured"

Step 5: click on "recession of the poorest"

Step 6: click on "climate change" Step 7: scroll down and click "infa-red" There are a bunch of numbers, possibly substitutes for an equation that can be plugged in somewhere. Does this have anything to do with the lumens and temp? Idk

Discretional Step 8: click on "nano" There are more numbers. But what is sus to me is that it says "notta" symbolized with an "N" and it shows a giant decimal as well as the word octillian on the same line. But also if you keep browsing that page you'll see a lowercase "n" and a lowercase "k" as well with their own measurements and decimals.

Here's one more screenshot I found that could possibly have something to do with the KN-44 hypercube blueprint, specifically with the planetary orbits. That campaign 'Demon Within' has 2 suns when you get to the zombies part
Here's that screenshot: https://www.xbox.com/play/media/qjdvxDXJHn

So I felt stuck, I didn't know what to do with this information, and sat on it for a bit or maybe I felt defeated. However, one day, I was playing Origins on bo3 and I found another clue. It reignited my hunt for this egg once again which led me to make this post. I will post a clip of what I found, the code, and a screenshot of the message.

Here's the screenshot of what I found while playing Origins on bo3:

I couldn't read it so I had to go back and change my optics on all my snipers to zoom in so here's that screenshot:

Now the video of where this message is located:
https://www.xbox.com/play/media/RYZ7wE46DX

Here's the coded message:
"pikyxl xkarvd'l pvvl aga vabrmnro hbv malpmwp rrtscjms hy kmwm-tqhz, buk rvit uxaairq qw cvlal kivtek xhgi hgg. v smnx hvv thrhpxvho pwc fref azxh zkvyq rovr gpeke sivx tuh xuhev erjempespe wxzmsi lwe lmg soeh dxohwxnwerc aveivric. I tried to decipher it, but had no luck. I haven't even found anything online about anyone finding this or deciphering it anywhere. I checked reddit, YouTube, google, and even tried to use chatgpt to decipher it.

In summary, I don't want to rule out anything because the people who made those YouTube videos about the impossible Easter egg on bo3 zombies did a lot of work and I don't want to discredit them. But I feel like they may be jumping to conclusions. I decided to take a step back and analyze things they spoke about. When I did, I found what you have read. I want to thank everyone who has read this post and welcome the community to my notes and screenshots for review and analysis, so we can solve this together and put it behind us. I know I couldn't have gotten this far without the help and work everyone has done thus far. I would also like to welcome you to any constructive criticism, critiques, and notes or clues you have found along your journey to solving this egg. Jason Blondell, if you're reading this, give us another clue!

Sincerely,
airdee69
