Neither has Internet access because the ISP doesn’t provide a battery backup for the NIU. So they are both still down.

Ever heard of a generator. A 2000-watt generator can power your pc, internet, tv, every light in the house, and still have power left over.

I got a generator going once when it was going to be a long one. was just planning to play some single player games or record some music, and the fucking internet was on lol. I couldn’t believe it.
In my area, when the power goes out, it’s usually out for hours. just 2 weeks ago we had a planned outage that lasted 13 hours. didn’t have the generator for that one : (
I did have my Sansamp GT2 that takes a 9v battery and jammed that whole time. gotta have other hobbies.

Hey to each their own, I just think the tradeoff for a gaming laptop aint worth the price. If I had to pick one or the other and I needed a laptop I guess that would be that, but to me the truly god-tier setup is a nice gaming desktop with a much more portable laptop for mobile productivity. Remote access to your data is clown shoes so unless you really just gotta be able to fire up a AAA game while you’re sitting in a coffee shop I don’t see the appeal.
