The most satisfying part of this scenario is in some games if you take on a very high level enemy, and eventually managed to kill it, you actually get a giant boost in XP that catapults you up! Because you damn well deserved that XP after dying to it 100+ times

This was the Dancer of Boreal Valley for me from dark souls 3. I fought her right after the dog boss which made her the third boss for me . It was hard and I died countless times trying to beat it. I had 2-3 flasks and her attacks killed me at 2 hits max.
