Ubisoft peaked in the late Xbox early X360 era. So many great games before they somehow turned themselves into an assassins creed puppy mill.
Ghost Recon Advanced warfighter along with Rainbow 6 Vegas carried the X360 (along with Oblivion) in the first year when the platform went on a game drought until Gears of War hit.

I always thought rayman was lame. Legends was probably better than all the old games. A magazine ad where rayman is pissing didn’t make them cool to me.

Somehow growing up….Rayman was just not part of the conversation. He wasn’t “cool” and I didn’t know anyone who played Rayman games.
The only reason we knew who Rayman was, was because our school had an educational typing game that used one of the Rayman games for it. You had to type to move the character and progress in the level type thing.
So yeah for me, this was definitely not part of the “ubisoft was cool” era. That would have been the Splinter Cell era for me and my sphere of people.
