With the state that Ubisoft is in right now, they know they can’t fuck this one up… I feel like a delay is inevitable, but hopefully it leads to a better launch next year.

I hate assassins creed and I’m interested in this. I think it’s a good idea to cancel press previews because there are certain franchises and developers/publishers that the press feel keen on bashing regardless of what they do and Ubisoft is in that group.
Also assassins creed sells itself at this point. They don’t need whatever little bit of clout they’d get from sending codes out to ign or whatever YouTube micro influencers that would offer commentary for this game.

There’s been a few clips breaking down the trailer and how glitchy and fucked up the animations and environment is, I’m not surprised they pulled the press preview.
It seems it really does need more work doing to it.

I’m sure if Ubisoft were to delay the release by a year to rewrite the story and maybe have just Naoe as the main protagonist, or replace Yasuke with someone entirely fictional, fans would be understanding. After all, Ubisoft marketing have completely changed previous games in terms of protagonists and their stories before, contrary to the wishes of the writers.

I’ve been wanting a Japan/Samurai focused AC since ACII, so I’ll keep my eyes on this one, but given all we’ve seen thus far, Ubisoft’s current reputation, and now this, I will certainly not hold my breath.

Ubisoft is in the last stage of Hangman game. Right now They have a wrong answer in their head, but they don’t say it yet. This is good stop they made actually, because This is huge decision between remaking the game and apologize or keep the ego and release the abomination
