2025 is when teams are no longer obligated to attend events due to being partner teams and now have freedom of choice which is what rain is referring to here.
And BLAST is doing themselves no favors by insisting on their current ruling regarding Astralis which may lead to many top teams refusing to attend their events when we return to the open circuit, which for BLAST is going to be a heavy blow and detriment considering TOs are apparently pitching to teams to attend their events and many of these teams provide high viewership which is what BLAST needs. And BLAST decided to massively tank their stock as a result of this.

I had no idea what BLAST hoped to achieve with their statement, but if the end goal was making teams second-guess attending their events then they are doing an excellent job.
