Hooxis calling is underrated, I still think Cadian is a better option for Astralis as they don’t need an entry igl like Hooxi.

only way hooxi belongs in astralis is if they want to keep the team playing like a tier2 mixteam. reminder that only cadian has lead a team to the top while hooxi has brought one down, and i wonder which one of them had all the top players on their team hmm

I love Cadian as an awping IGL, but he has like a 1.2X rating with awp in buy rounds and a 0.86 rating with riffle in buy rounds. His hype, energy and calling are fantastic, but he’s not a riffler. This team will have to go hard on double awp setups or possibly even move Dev1ce to hybrid which would be crazy.

astralis are struggling to make jabbi and stavn play like top20 players again, so they bring the only igl that made them look good (ok maybe jabbi looked good under hooxi too but it was ages ago)

Will cadian have more rifle firepower than hooxi He probably will since he can dedicate all his sim routines on rifle now, not by that much though.
I think he is just a better fit though strategy and energy wise. He likes to establish a set system, which was stabbis only environment to thrive in and also where device had most of his success. On top Astralis recently clearly tried to be more energetic and hypey on lan but struggle to keep up the vibes once a few rounds are lost. Defintely another problem cadian will help with. And assuming he had a serious talk with positive outcome with stabbi, there is a lot of synergy already
I don’t really see a reason to pick up hooxi over cadian in all honesty. His mid round calls _might_ be of higher quality but it’s not like cadian is incredibly bad at it and he has device and stavn to assist with that anyway.

I think Hooxi expected that too, because why else would he refuse that offer from GL, so he missed out on it and now hes sitting on the bench and I don’t think hes having offers from any team until after the major
