Recently broke the hamate bone in my right(main) hand, i find out if surgery is needed on tuesday. Either way its looking like minimum 8 weeks in a cast.
I have ps5, switch, pc and android( phone). I can use my pointer finger and thumb to occasionally push buttons. I primarily am in need og games i can play one handed or that wont need fast precise 2 handed controls. Ive been playing balatro a lot since i broke it. I know i can remap the dualsense for ps5 so im gonna try to swap the face buttons with the Dpad so i can easily use X◻️O triangle. Im up for most genres

Steam has a lot of hentai games
Pocket pool 😂
Oldschool runescape
Sonic Forces
Heroes of Might and Magic 3/4/5
Slay the spire.
Depending how good you are with left-handing a mouse. you can play even games like Baldur’s Gate
The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante, Crusader Kings
Pornhub
I don’t know how well it plays with the weak hand, but… One Finger Death Punch.
One finger death punch… it’s right there in the name!
Guitar hero
Slay the Spire!
Cult of the lamb?
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Play it with a friend or even better, a Brother!
Baldur’s Gate 3 can easily be played with 1 hand.
Tft
Baldurs gate. PC is point and click, console you can just slowly adjust and combat is turn based regardless of console vs PC
Anything turn based, but darkest dungeon 1 in particular can be controlled completely with a mouse and it’s a personal favorite of mine
Ruptured a tendon in my right thumb so currently one handed. Having fun with Divinity Original Sin. DOS 2 and BG3 would work too.
One-armed Robber and One-armed Cook on Steam.
Any Jrpg would do. Since you said PC, try playing Trails in the Sky FC. Its the first game in the series and can be played entirely with the mouse. Its pretty neat.
Slice and Dice. Cheap android and steam game with tons of fun.
A lot of older turn based RPGs like Final Fantasy can be played with one hand or some RTSs like Starcraft.
The Pokémon Let’s Go! games on switch basically force you to play one-handed so if you’re into something light that’s a way to go
If you still got your DS/access to one, Dragon Quest 9 is a simple turn based RPG that can be done with the stylus’s
Nikke: Goddess of Victory
One-handed in both ways
“That’s rough buddy” I can’t think of many console games I’ve played that are easy to play in real time with half a controller.
I’d recommend playing your favourite turn based games. Or exploring the genre if you haven’t.
Pillars of Eternity 2
Wrath of the Righteous
Wasteland
Divinity original sin 2
X-Com
These are a couple I can think of atm
Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Rimworld is easy to play using just a mouse
Chrono cross!
Any turn based strategy: Xcom, battletech, Warhammer mechanicus, phantom brigade
Any RPG: persona, wasteland, shadowrun, baldurs gate
Simple control scheme games: One finger death punch, luftrausers, downwell
Puzzle games: opus magnum, into the breach, so many other games
I’m sure there’s a lot of better games but when I broke my wrist I played so much Techno Kitten Adventure
Civ!
Ask your mother to help you. There should be a similar story on reddit you can use as a guide!
Visual novels lol

Rhythm doctor is a really fun one-button rhythm game with a very interesting story (even if its only early access)
On that note (ha ha) a dance of fire and ice is similar in that regard. Although the harder levels do tend to need 2 hands, as the rhythm gets incredibly fast.
Hearthstone
Old School Runescape
Turn based RPGs like Pokémon or Final Fantasy.
When my elbow shattered a while back, I played through Yakuza 7 and 8 which are primarily Turn based RPGs with incredible (albeit insane) stories that are worth playing
Brotato.
Jrpgs?

One finger death punch. 2 buttons, a lot for fun.

World of tanks play artillery.
