I don’t think this tells the story you think it tells. He’s still performing similarly vs teams ranked #20-50, so to me this just means that the top 10 is more competitive and more ‘balanced’ than lower tiers, which you’d expect.
Players slump and players return to form. I think it’s premature to talk about “donk’s falloff”.

Holy fuck man the standard this kid is held to by this sub is insane. The second he’s not single handedly carrying spirit to victory there are instantly posts about how he’s washed at 17 years old.

People forget that teams between rank 11-50 are still incredible strong and his stats are insane. Those top 50 teams player would eat us all alive so good are they and he is stomping on them. Also these stats on one side show that the top 10 teams also got better (and learned how to counter him). Beside that: 7 and 12 maps aren’t that much data to prove anything. 25 / 40 matches tell a whole different story.

I still think he is the best player in the world but man is his team letting him down. If you watch Spirit now against any T1 opposition or even T2 they win if Donk drops a 1.4+ performance and almost always lose if he doesn’t
