PC

Beginner question

Hello good people,

I’m now to this world, never owned a gaming pc in my life and needless to say I know absolutely nothing about them, especially prices.

I saw this one on facebook marketplace and I’m just wondering how much would you pay for it?

This is the sort of thing I’m looking to get in the near future, more or less, whatever my budget allows.

Thank you in advance.

Hello OhBoyiyiyi, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

If you’re just getting into PC gaming you would be better off saving up and starting on AM5 instead of AM4.

Definitely do a ton of research into what games you plan on playing and what hardware would be needed for said games. For instance if you like simulators or city builders you would benefit from having an 8 core cpu but could get away with a mid or low tier gpu, if you intend on playing things like online fps games then you could get away with a 6 core cpu and a mid tier gpu but, if you want to experience those AAA story based single player games then you would want to put away around $1200 to play them on somewhat decent settings.

Don’t forget to think about what resolution you want to play at (I recommend UW 1440p, 4K is way overrated and isn’t worth the cost in performance).

In spite of all of this I’ll recommend you some specs that you can get on a decent budget.

    B450 motherboard
    Ryzen 5600x cpu
    Rtx 3060ti
16GB Ram 3200mhz (32GB if you can spare it)
    550w PSU (gold)
500gb M.2 SSD for your OS and apps
1TB (or more if you’d like) m.2 ssd for all of your games.

Ssd I recommend on a budget is Fanxiang or Crucial.

This PC is not current gen except the GPU, which is low end. I wouldn’t spend more than $800. But, I would guess they want like $1,200+ lol. Everything he boasts in it is absolute BS. For $1000 you could build your own with much better parts. If you really want a built one then this isn’t it unless it is lower than my $800 price. Best of luck!
