What does this mean? No more TPM or CPU upgrade bullcrap?

  2. Vegetable_Safety

Fuck no. I’m staying on 10 pro until the next “non-retard” version comes out.

I do this twice a week. Just for the thrills.

It took me like over a day of constant downloading on an old HDD in my laptop to upgrade.

Relief maybe, after jumping through all the hoops they put into the requirements. Looking at *you*, secure boot…

Can’t upgrade when my PC doesn’t have TPM 2.0 module

  7. Windows 10 was a pile of shit and Windows 11 continued that trajectory.

Sorta. 2 years ago I made the jump because i got an OLED panel so autoHDR suddenly become more important to me. Well, it’s certainly better than nothing, but nowadays RTX HDR exist, so there’s that.

I don’t get excited about any software upgrade.

From what I read, I its a crime to upgrade from windows 10 to 11.. and i am guilt of it 🤦‍♂️

  11. No thanks. The scheduler is ironically *worse* for Intel CPU’s.

    I’ll stick with Server 2022.

  12. Clearly this is photoshoped. Bloke is getting his birthday BJ

No. Waiting for Windows 12 like the usual zigzag between retarded and non retarded versions. Besides, my hardware can’t run 11 so when I finally upgrade then it’ll be when 12 is the default version

I can’t upgrade, says my pc don’t meet the requirements even tho i cover them by a mile.

Lol only if the upgrade fails and I revert back

That’s my actual expression each time I manage to evade my system’s urge for “upgrading” to that abomination.

I had zero issues upgrading to 11 though.

At my job (IT) we strill have 10 but my PC has W11 and its ok. Even though i use it only for gaming nowadays.

It’s more of a downgrade, and no, i was not happy

  21. Matematico083

Not this thrilled, but I was happy to see that its far superior than 10

I was this thrilled when reinstalling win10

I was kinda like that, 10 was incredibly buggy for me for as long as I used it, tried 11 to see if it would fix anything and what do you know, all issues and bugs were gone. So yeah, I guess that was kind of my reaction to it lol.

no, but I was like this when I learned that I can use my win 10 right click menu in win11

  25. I did once I got a new PC and realised Win 10 was gimping a lot of the new expensive hardware as it had no idea how to deal with it. Meant I could stop using process lasso to disable my ecores for games also as games magically knew how to use them once I changed to 11 and overall has been very smooth but I did only upgrade last year so plenty of time for other people to beta test all the bugs for a few years.
