Has Valve abandoned CS2 in favour of Deadlock? That has been a question on the minds of many in the CS community.

As performance issues drag on and a lack of satisfying updates leave players wanting more, fans have started to compare the current state of the game to that of Valve’s new darling.

  1. Valve have abandoned CS already like 9 years ago. I have no words for such a dogshit Developer honestly u cant make it worse

  2. I stopped playing CS after almost 3,5k hours in csgo and 500 hours in cs2 because i am sick of playing the same old maps in a game that feels like a bad ripoff from my original love cs:go.
The Problem is, if the majority of the playerbase keeps playing anyways, valve will not change anything.
We need to collectively stop playing, let the playercount dwindle more and more and they will have to change something, doesn't matter if its new content or fixes to make the game smoother.

  3. From one extreme to another, riot seemingly care too much about valorant and keep adding shit that in my opinion ruined the game. Meanwhile valve don't give af at all.

  4. I used to like this channel, and watched it a lot, but the way this guy just pumps out click bait conspiracy theories or pure rage about CS2 with zero actual content is really getting to me. Get Dimitri back on the CS2 coverage. He did a proper job!

  5. This is pretty stupid. Valve is not like one single team of developers, there are teams that are working on Counter-Strike, teams that are working on TF2, teams that are working on deadlock, etc. It's not like once a new game comes out all the resources move towards that one.

  6. I don’t think valve has abandoned cs2 it’s just behind deadlock rn because of the popularity. When cs2 was announced we all were excited and flooded cs:go (rip) buying skins, selling skins, playing matches and CUSTOM COMMUNITY SERVERS made us ready for cs2 and after realizing that cs2 wasn’t finished we stated the problems to valve thus being ghosted by valve. Deadlock is new having a whole new community will bring more people to their game inviting friends what not, valve will see this and focus on growing that community.

  7. The idea that you can separate valve from the development, that these are two independent teams is laughable from an account seemingly so invested in Valve. Developers choose what to work on, they might be separate teams but developers are free to leave their current project to work on the darling child project because its new and fun. Games not getting worked on like TF2 being derelict all stem from developers choosing to work on other things, CS has a smaller team and it is absolutely because some chose to go to the deadlock team.

  8. I’m thinking about selling all of my skins because the game is dying but i also have hope for a crazy big update causing a big boom in skin prices

  9. CS players: what we want? Anti-cheat and operations.
CS dev: take this case and STFU
CS Skin youtubers: we stop the protest now time to dump half a million in a video and promote this gambling site I own to my kid audience

  10. So I'm confused why screw with the golden goose if CS2 is making 25 to 60 million USD a month that's like an average of quarter to half a billion usd dollars a year, an that's not including steam market sales 15% charge. they should be more transparent

  11. CS players butthurt. It is the style of Valve when it comes to new game and Deadlock is in beta, not fully released yet in a new genre and I.P. like what the guy said. They need communication for this new game title they will release in the future but once DL get released, it will be treated similarly to other Valve multiplayer games being silent and we the audience, don't know what is going on behind the scenes from Valve. Everyone wants a new genre and game from Valve, and now they are delivering it. If this game is successful, you bet many other gaming companies will develop their own Deadlock game, so be thankful.

  12. 4:03 Yea just like in CS Go it has 10 developers working on it regularly. The game is on life support at this point, they cannot pump out more content.

  13. They are atleast aware of what the community is saying because they patch things that are posted on reddit. We're coming up on 1 year of the game being released. I don't even care about an operation anymore, just give us an optimization update pls
