In today’s episode: the truth about the esports awards, Valve’s new rules, and rumors of s1mple moving to Team Falcons.

Let’s start with the latest scandal involving CSGO Empire. This site is in the spotlight again after hosting a contest with a prize of 9-11 coins, which coincides with the tragic events of September 11. The post was quickly deleted, and the person responsible was reportedly fired, but the damage to the site’s reputation remains.

Now for some good news: VACnet is still doing its job, banning 471 players recently. However, it’s unclear whether they were actual cheaters or just users of auto-clickers. The bigger issue remains the resale of accounts, allowing banned cheaters to continue their activities on new profiles.

Faceit isn’t without its own problems. Perfecto shared his frustration about being paired with weak teammates, stating that the skill level on the platform isn’t as high as many expect, especially for those who pay for premium access, hoping for better matchmaking.

ENCE is also struggling. Their win rate over the last three months is just 27.8%. Concerns are growing that Gla1ve, one of their key players, might retire soon.

As for Team Falcons, insiders report that some players are under psychological pressure due to upcoming roster changes. Adding to the tension, rumors suggest that Falcons are not only interested in Niko but also in s1mple. The big question is whether such strong personalities can coexist in the same team.

Journalist Richard Lewis criticized the esports awards, questioning the decision to name Valorant as “Esports Game of the Year.” He argued that CS deserves more recognition due to its constant tournaments, while Valorant had far fewer events. Lewis also believes Valve should’ve been named “Publisher of the Year” for their work with CS2 and Dota 2.

In closing, Starladder is making a comeback with a tournament scheduled for September 2025, featuring a $500,000 prize pool. What’s exciting is that four teams from open qualifiers will have a shot, giving underdogs a rare opportunity to compete on a big stage.

Valve also introduced stricter rules for player autographs. Now, signatures must look like real autographs, be drawn in no more than 10 seconds, and be verified in person. Some see this as an unnecessary measure.

Finally, let’s look at the ESL Pro League group stage results: M80, Imperial, Vitality, and Liquid have advanced directly to the playoffs, while BIG and Virtus.Pro battled through the lower bracket. FURIA and Complexity made it via the last chance qualifier. The quarterfinals already await top teams like Na’Vi and G2.

  1. Just to clear things up about s1mple and NiKo: Richard Lewis posted on Twitter that he didn’t claim anything, he was just sharing an interesting story about these guys. Don’t take that video as an attempt to mislead you—we’re just here to bring you the most exciting news from the world of CS2. Have a great day, everyone!

  2. Besides getting put on bot teams in Faceit with a premium subscription, Faceit also stuck their demos behind a paywall to extort leetify (a free service) so now you can’t even look at your analytics if that’s something you are interested in. Faceit is a bad service and run by greedy people

  3. faceit is the way to go, but its 2 much smurfs and account buyers, im 2,3k elo and i still got people full troll not care cuz they are on their alt and just troll! i want to get to 3k elo soon so there would not be smurfs.

  4. Oh cool, two guys who've consistently shown their individual skill doesn't translate to helping their team win instead of one should surely fix Falcons performance /s

  5. Yippe lets kill every creativity and originality of player signiatures so we will have plain letters instead of a cool fcking shark or a baguette. I don't even think they will let throught a signiature with a heart cuz they gonna just say 'Uh, my 6 year old couldnt draw that that nice, start again'

  6. It is funny that you say do not do anything with csgo empire not because of they are untrustworthy or sketchy but "super cringe" 😅

  7. S1mple vs bot
    0. 1
Niko is random shooter lucky silver LoL
My 6 yo brother better than both
    Falcons need better players
    Not silvers pls😂😂😂😂😂😂

  8. how can they justify being able to detect and immediately kick the snaptap users but not cheats? make it make sense.

  9. You talk shit bout Empire (fair enough) meanwhile, you have sponsor deal with 2.nd biggest scam org there is today… MASSIVE HYPOCRISY on your part…

  10. Falcons will still fail: problem Snappi calls , u can see some times players don't have some info, snappi calls aren't that great, some match they maybe saved by individual shooting

  11. I dont see Simple happening. Biggest problem is NAVI wants 2 to 3 mil for his contract and as bad as hes performed in the last 2 years no ones going to touch him.

  12. I get matched up with NPC's all the time. They speak some weird language i don't understand but they think everyone does.

  13. vacnet is working 300 cheaters vac banned after 1 year of being spinbotting…

meanwhile the other 3 billion cheaters having fun.

  14. Nice to see Richard Lewis getting some respect for his work. He might not be super popular as he points out also the ugly aspects of the scene but his work is really needed

  15. Apex is not gonna retire any time soon expecially if Vitality hits top4 in China. Dupreeh should've retired when he won with Vitality.

  16. Mouz so far has used these excuses
    Its dexters fault
    We are burnt out
We took a 3 day break so we arr rusty
    Siuhy home town is flooded
    Jetlag
Its a small tournament so we didnt use our stratbook

    These guys full of excuses

  17. Logically speaking, only Falcons is capable of getting S1mple because no other orgs can afford his buyout of 3 mill(overdrive). They would need to get a new igl, and also replacement for maden. Mafisk and Dupreeh I think are fine.

There could be an experiment where magisk becomes the igl, dupreeh entry, s1mple awp, niko star (yes niko ahead of s1mple imo cuz s1mple is totally washed in cs 2 he needs to earn his spot back into the new team), and a new rifler in place of maden. Maybe perfecto but then you would have two anchors of magisk and perfecto, another possibility could be SDY, super underated as a player and will definitely give consistent performance

  18. half of this video is about richard lewis… lol…
