OCCT 1hr Tests come back clean on both modes. I can game multiple hours with both modes on. Have not had a single BSOD. Only glitch is fail to reboot when hitting restart (only on EXPO), afraid that may cause issues with updates so i am running on 4800mhz.
Tried:
Changing Ram kit, Same exact behavior (QVL and Placement good).
Reseating CPU (Cooler not extremly tight).
Bios Update (last one i had was a year old).
MCR On and Off.
Setting a 5400 Expo profile.
Setting 6k and 5.4k XMP profiles.
No RGB header/control; Off in bios, only software running is razer chroma and thats just for mouse & keyboard.
Havent tried:
Getting down and dirty with manual timings, but i have tried EXPO Timings and setting speet to 4800MTs. Same issue appears.
Really I think the only culprit left is the MOBO having some niche error. CMOS cleared after the CPU reseating and i had the same issue.
The Memory controler for the CPU could also be to blame, but wouldnt I be seeing instability and crashes while running EXPO?
It really is not that big of a problem, its just annoying.
