through-and-through shot, you didn’t hit any vital organs

Demos are unfortunately not 100% accurate and reliable. You probably shot slightly too early
Mr-hoffelpuff
you will get the copium boys on you posting clips showing how shit condition the game is in right now. be aware.

This never ever happened in the history of CSGO because that game completely ignored latency somehow.

He had faster movement speed, right hand advantage, further from the angle, probably desync, cs2 is shit

Shots 1-6 clearly missed Shots 7-15 missed due to poor recoil control Shots 16-25 you were slightly moving

Logical answer is that you were dead before you even fired. Enemy shot faster.

I’m assuming (based off of how it was in CSGO) that the server didn’t actually register your shot. There’s usually 2 different squares when showing impact: Red=Client, Blue=Server. It appears that there is only a red impact meaning that shot was only registered on the client side. Was your ping significantly higher or lower than theirs?

Probably has to do with timestamps (subtick) aka: enemy shot you before you shot him. Demo still plays both actions because it still works with ticks (64 or 128 depending on server).
So you both fired on the same tick > server registers and also shows both on demo > server checks timestamps on both actions and concludes that enemy is faster > “you shot but you’re dead
Unpopular opinion: this kind of effect makes game feel weird but ultimately, its fair for both sides.
