It’s been 50 days since the update. How are we feeling about the dust2 short boost?

Its good. Makes retakes more dynamic and makes taking long as T more challenging

I hope they make small changes like this to a lot of maps, keeps things fresh, especially on an older map. W

I’ve noticed the biggest difference once it comes down to a 1v1 post plant. T’s all of a sudden have another angle to hold.

Hated this map before, now it’s my favorite and I only play short on ct. makes everything faster and more balanced

  5. It makes A a lot easier for cts to hold which makes them stay mid or even have more players B while b is already a hard site for ts to take

I’m not sure what to think about it. I have the feeling it’s positive but that’s mostly because when I play D2 my teammates usually lose long. So it’s another tool to use for me.

I just love Valve’s approach to this “problem”. “How can we do something so small that doesn’t break the map, but makes the gameplay really interesting”

I feel like these dust 2 changes and the minor changes to economy that Valve made is really the best way to nudge the game towards whatever direction they want. The fundamental gameplay of Counter-Strike has been polished to such level over the years that they have to tread everything very carefully.

The game really is in good hands. They just need to fix the feel of CS2. CS2 really is one or two good updates away from being better than CSGO..and this is basically within one years of release. I’m sure they know what to prioritize at this point in the game (hint: performance and netcode).

Sorry i rambled and became “philosophical” lol
