I always thought Abbey was the goated CSGO community map, but honestly Basalt might have taken the title. This map was unbelievably fun, drop it into the map pool asap.
I do wonder though, why did the buildings lose so much colour? They’re definitely still vibrant and probably more realistic, but they were so eye catching.

Really hoping this map comes back, this is still my favorite map. At that time I was playing only Basalt and nothing else!

Played basalt a lot back in csgo. This map has real potential to be in the pool imo.

Basalt was one of my favorite community maps by the end of CSGO’s lifetime. I really hope it comes back – I’m glad it’s been remastered by you guys!
