Upgraded from a 2070 rog strix to a 3070ti rog strix. Sold the 2070 for 210€ and bought the 3070ti für 300€. Thats a good trade.

What a waste of potential.

I share the same feeling, I use my PC mostly for watching YT and playing weeb games locked at 60 fps, the only reason I’d upgrade any component is if it’s dead

my 1660 super just failed… maaan 🙁

What’s an “AAA” game anyway? A shit game that takes a $3K PC to run?

Kinda weird to think that GTX960 is gonna be a 10 years old card in a few months time.

What AAA games?! 99% of what they call AAA now is only so by name and price…

2gb vram? Not very futureproof for Fortnite. I mean competitive 1080p medium 80-100 fps+ just like my 2017 RX 570 8gb (2019 gtx 1650 equivalent, between gtx 1050ti and gtx 1060 6gb)
2015-2020 online PC games were mostly dominated by the 2016 Nvidia Pascal 10-series/AMD RX 400-500 series with midrange 4gb-6gb VRAM and high end 8gb VRAM.
Always buy a double vram gpu for futureproof PC surpassing console. When PS4 came out, 2013 midrange pc graphic cards were sold with 2gb VRAM. You need an affordable twofold VRAM like 2016 Nvidia Pascal.

My R9 Fury X (980ti equiv) ran Palworld fine when it came out this year. It’s definitely getting to the end of its life though as it certainly has to try to run more modern titles.

You might have to wait a loooooong time
My first 660ti from 2013 is still running just fine
My second from 2014 has died alongside the mobo/cpu it was mounted on though 🤷♂️
Thunderstorm-1
Same, I’m going to stick with my 1070 until it dies. Currently it’s more than enough to run the games I play(valorant, spectre divide, rocket league, apex and overwatch)
HyperWinX
Same situation with GTX 970. Its slowly dying, and im waiting for a day when ill turn pc on and it wont post.
I wont be able to buy new GPU
valkon_gr
