Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

I prefer this over BO6.

Based on the BO6 Beta alone, I can confidently say that the game is well made and Treyarch has certainly put a lot of effort into making their vision for this game.

However, in my honest opinion, with the multiplayer mechanics both "omni" moment and aiming, I do not see this game being better than coldwar.

Now I obviously have a bias towards the 2 games and preferring coldwar would only be natural considering I have just under 10k games played on it and I'm top 1500 in the world on the leaderboards. But regardless, with the amount of time I've spent fine tuning my playstyle to this game it's only become apparent to me over the years how well made this COD actually is. (Especially for the time that it was given to be made)

Aiming,

Coldwar has – Perfect 1:1 aim centering without almost any delay, Jittering, Clunkiness, Over-use of animations and there's very little recoil at all. Wheras, in BO6 all of those factors seem to be the complete opposite.

BO6 has – Very poor aim centering with noticeable Inconsistent delays, fair amounts of Jittering or screenshaking depending on how your movement corresponds with your ability to react to people, Clunkiness while performing those movements with the over-the-top and overdone animations that they've implemented into the game for the realism factor. Much larger amounts of recoil (which is fair, but doesn't help when dealing with all the other previos delays mentioned) and Inconsistent medium to small amounts of aim assist which was actually done on purpose.

Movent,

People love the omni movement, I see a lot of talk about it being a whole new era of complex play styles that possibly creates the largest of skill gaps that's ever been seen in a Call of Duty Game. Now, I can definitely see that being talked about in Leage play for example. But for the average public game lobbies, you aren't going to be playing anything that seems natural for a shooter game. (Unless you're like SnD player that enjoys playing like it's R6 Seige or something)

The omni movment tec implemented in this game consists of things like diving sideways with a shot gun around edges to kill players within milliseconds without them being able to react, or lying backwards in prone with a smg to basically pixel-peak people off corners which basically invents whole new ways of camping.

It can be considered a skill gap for some, but for the most part it just seems completely unnatural, unorthodox and unpredictable to any normal player getting into the game.

Wheras, with Coldwar, The movement tec is very simple. It's just running and sliding. Nothing more. It's simple, people may not think much of it because of its simplicity, But I believe it makes more of an overall balanced game.
