something popped in my head, something i already had forgotten. im from germany and was doing abitur at school ( abitur proofs somehow that you can go to universities here in germany) when robert steinhäuser did his massacre in an erfurt school which he went to. our school had so called "school club", a room where you could do a lot of things. me and my friends had good connections with the housekeeper and we were able to get the keys over weekends to do lans there. one of the friends had made our whole school with schoolyard into a cs map. the map was shit to play, but it was fun to visit a place from the real world in a computergame – i would say that was our overall mindset. after the massacre took place some pupils leaked info about "what we were planning" ( literally!) and there was a big fuzz. police, talks with the head of school asoasf, our parents were involved as well ( most of us werent even minors anymore since some were already 18). luckily, our parents judged us well and they basically laughed it off, scolding everyone that was putting up this "attack in plan" theme. the only repercussion we had was that we had to delete the map and never play it again, which we certainly, certainly, certainly did xD

The asthetics of Alpine with all the angles are veeery nice. Reminds me of some Operation maps. Love it

i love the idea of cataract. the indestructible glass is such a small change, but impacts the gameplay so much without losing the competitive integrity of the game.
29:10 also the enemies would just peek with the crosshair placement on the escalator. Interesting idea.

I don't really understand the criteria you applied. Some maps you thought as too crazy, some as too boring. As it is a custom map contest titled "Big Adventure", the actual playability for a competitive 5vs5 match won't matter much. I am looking forward to stunning visuals, crazy ideas, impressive architecture and fun.
