Should I get this pc?

I've saved up around £600 (with a bit for games) and I was looking to get this. Would it run Minecraft well?

Hello Skya-kun, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

Just build one, I saved money buying second hand parts on eBay to keep the cost down.

It’s very easy to build a pc.

Build your own pc and look at cex for ram, cpu, gpu, fans, etc. Look at SCAN for storage, psu, thermal paste, cpu fans and case

  7. Pre-builts are always overpriced, and there is WAY too much information out there to not build it yourself. Head over to r/PcBuild or any of the other pc subs to get advice. You could even post “want a PC to run minecraft, new to building, what should I buy?” and someone will build it for you. I’m sure you could even find someone who will video call you and walk you through it if you have 0 confidnece in yourself, or just ask around work/school. A savvy teacher/co-work either has built on or knows someone who could help.

For that money, This is what I would recommend you get: [Minecraft PC](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Fvtvr/saved/3gVx99)

It’s a better PC for about the same price. It does go over slightly, but that’s mostly because of the windows installation. These places have an “enterprise lot” of windows keys. They pay microsoft for a massive lot of keys, and this allows them to get them cheap. A lot of places will also do this, allowing you to get a cheaper windows key than this, so do a little research and and confirm with others before buying, but you can get this PC for less than that pre-built, and it will be faster.

The other things I can almost guarantee that they’re doing, is putting bronze power supplies in the pc, which is a bad practice. It’s simply not reliable or efficient enough, and will crap out before the usable lifespan of the pc is spent. That will be the first things you’d have to upgrade, and likely within the next year.

Speaking on either, they’re great systems otherwise. The one I’ve built leaves room for upgrades, should you want to keep it cheap long term. Basically upgrade the graphics card first, then the CPU, then the RAM, and the power supply as needed. You can do this over the next 4-5 years, and still have a great pc with longevity to boot. The best part with going this route, is when you’re ready to retire this system, you’ll have the knowledge to build your own from scratch, and know what you want out of it.

    Hope this helps!
