CS:GO

This has basically been my premier experience. This is the second time I was up to 14,999. The first time, I went all the way down to 11k. And now I think the matchmaking system is doing it to me again.

Same for me and it’s nuts that I win 7 in a tow and max I get is 370 but once I lose 2 3 I get -470

  2. Its lame but just play to have fun and over time you should progress to a higher level anyways. No need to rush the highest rank possible only to get your butthole punched in and drop down to the lower ranks anyways

Its so odd, the skill disparity at around 15k is insane. Sometimes you have nohands, sometimes god himself.

At 20k it feels a bit more consistent atleast

  4. TBH once you reach about 12.5 or 13 you should start party queueing with at least one other person so that you (most likely) get only one solo queuer in your team. Why do this? Because if you don’t, you’ll consistently face more “teamy” teams, increasing your “carrying load” considerably.

Everyone knows it’s best to 5-man queue, but even 2-man queueing is better than solo queueing. I solo queue on 3 accounts depending on my sobriety (and occasionally on drop activity) and have been playing casually since around 1.5. On the “high as fuck right now” account I settle between 9.6 and 9.999 whereas the other two (one is practice and one is normal) I get anywhere between 10 and 12.

That said, when I somehow by some amazing coincidence get shunted into a game of 15’s, I do completely fine because I’m a good team player, just not playing on very good equipment and kind of far from the dedicated servers. That pretty much tells me that my biggest problem is my teammates, and my second biggest problem is my outdated equipment and geographical location. Since you seem to be less casual than me, I strongly recommend party queueing for premier.

  5. The choke! It happens man, it’s tough. The more you want it, the harder it gets. Just play the game 😁

  6. It’s a well-known fact, you have to hit x,999 three times before you’re allowed to pass it! 😎

tbh I think the system isn’t that good I think bad players can get lucky for a few games and gain too much and a good player can get shit teams mates for 5 games and lose too much elo, gain less lose less would be better imo

Skill issue, if you are good you will get higher at some point

I got to 15k this week and i played 2 games in 15k both of them had blatant cheaters and suprise suprise all the cheaters in those 2 games were russians. Atm no point even tryharding when there will be someone cheating blatant or soft cheating in 15k+

  10. Dude I have had literally the same experience the past 2 weeks, 1 game off 15k multiple times. Then a streak of losses down to 12k. And now I can start winning games again.

Also I am sure this is just in my head, but I swear every time I go on a win streak and get close to rank up, I face stacks or cheaters. Had an insanely obvious one the other day that kept sitting behind smokes and killing people through it. I’m talking multiple awp kills through a smoke with zero indication where we were. Or a perfectly timed spray in an off angle out of nowhere.

premier is completely broken (comp. too). you should not care about ranks. i was up to 18k about 2-3 weeks ago and today i’m at 14,5. solo-q. i think i had like 5-6 games in a row against 5stacks who played like prime astralis when it comes to utility usage and stuff like that… not fun….
