I gave her the movement basics, but that's it. I placed her in CT to avoid planting bombs etc, but I guess the game ended and she chose T after.
Are there any videos worth watching for new players? For players thatbhave never played PC or FPS or have a basic understanding of the mechanics? I don't think I'm the best to teach her. Tips are very welcome!

Warowl has old videos of the very basics of CS, I think she can watch those to learn the game better.

Scroll to the bottom to get his earliest videos, I think most of it is still valid
Warowl has videos for beginners, I think they’re a bit old at this point but it’s not like the game has changed that much.
Stuff like this makes wonder, how necessary would a proper in-game tutorial be? There’s arguments that online games don’t need tutorials but I’m not so sure about that
This video is more geared towards people watching it as an esport for the first time but it’s a nice little explainer of the absolute basics.

Some of the infos out of date but the gist is the same
It’s 7355608
Lol so cute
Smack G and move on!
I like how she just texts a message with a pic of the bomb saying help as if you’re going to talk her through how to defuse it or something
I miss the old training course from GO. I used to grind there if I got too bored
There is Training Day in the practice tab, but I just played it and it‘s not very good.. you play one pistol round with ingame help prompts enabled but it doesn‘t continue after you explode the bomb lol 🥴
I would recommend videos about the basics and watch good players play the game…
The is also refrag, they have bootcamps for each map (i.e tasks like aimbotz and prefire) which can really boost the mechanics
