Hello guys im new, so my question is. I bought a preowned msi rtx 3060 ti 8gigs from a local dealer for about 235$. Which has about 11-9 month warranty left and the local dealer also mentioned that they have a 7 days testing return policy.
Now when the day i bought the card i ran it on a 700w psu with all the game i could run and stress test it as possible, gpu was running with no issue whatsoever and remained under 73•C, then after about 4-5 hrs later my pc instantly shutdown. I made many attempts but the pc fails during the boot in every 5-8 sec.
Now i had no choice but to use a spare psu i had in arsenal which is a 450w coolermaster psu. Gpu was running good but i couldnt stress test because when ever i tried any stree test my psu starts to make loude noises and eventually crashes the application or freezes it(especially games). So i refrained myself from playing high power consumption games and capped the gpu on 70 fps to undervolt the usage so it don't freeze anymore.
After 2 days of uses my gpu RGB started acting wierd, it used to illuminate in a very pleasant way but now it started flickering like a patient is dying on a ventilator, however it fixes when i shutsdown the pc for 15-20 sec and restart it.
At this point i was lready very scared and was making my mind to return it.
Today i was playing valorant on low setting and the games froze 2-3 time in 4 hrs gameplay, it also freeze's during surfing throught browser and all, after valorant i tried playing Tekken 7 where i found artifacts which is very scary cuz it usually indicates of gpu short life, however i restarted the game and the artifacts i saw was never to be found.
Now guys enlighten me if I'm hallucinating or is it true I'll drop the image and clips of my concern mentioned above
