FR though, I’ve been having consistent frame drops after upgrading to Windows 11 (I know…). If anyone has suggestions I’d love to hear them, I’ve already tried the suggestions you get from a basic search. First noticed the issue with Hellblade 2, but I’ve had it with every game I’ve tested so far (Destiny 2, Cyberpunk, AC: Unity).

Why does James Franco look like walking dead pirate neagan?

I’m in scientific computing and when I upgraded to the i9-14900KF, my data processing went from 2.5min/iteration to like 55s/iterations. It was so awesome to see.

Upgraded to an i9 12900k when it launched. Will rock it until it dies 🤣

For me, it was a decent upgrade from 7700x to 7800x3d, somehow getting better 99 percents and like 10 percent better fps on games on average. I was running Cp2077 at max settings at 4k and got almost 60 fps whereas i was getting maybe 48 before.

Cos your GPU is still bottlenecking at 100% just like it would be with an i5 🤣

I switched from an i5 8400 to an r5 7600 after 5 years. The performance leap was noticeable and I am glad I did not upgrade every year to a new cpu.

Well, I’m on 5800X3D and don’t plan to upgrade anytime soon ’till the end of AM5, most likely where they release another banger X3D (or maybe sooner if they come out with something revolutionary).
It just gets things done for my needs, especially at 4k

I’m still rockin an i7-8700k, because I don’t want to update my mobo. It only supports up to the 9th generation.

I’m still rocking my i5 8600K OCed. I won’t upgrade my CPU until it can’t run any new games. The GPU might get replaced though
hardlyreadit
Yeah upgrading the cpu is the least meaningful upgrade if your gpu cant keep up
