Desync/ lag comp fix
As you can see in that video what I think is lag compensation has made the game really not fun to play on my side (clips are only from a few days of playing).
I am a fairly competitive player and I get absolutely melted in all of my duels. Here’s my setup :
- brand new flat with new electricity cables
- latest router, ~1Gb internet speed on average measures
- playing wired
- nat open
- playing on series X
- up to date meta loadouts
- all the required ports are redirected
I tried to switch my Ethernet cable to a way slower port (going from 900+ Mo connection to 90Mo) and this seemed to improve things a lot (the clips are taken with the 90 Mo speed, you can imagine how worse things were).
Hence my question, does anyone have managed to fix this issue? Should I find a way to slow my connection even more with a VPN or a crappy Ethernet cable?

Precision: I am supposed to lose the duels in a lot of the clips, just look at their ttk, my ttd and my own ttk (it seems I only manage to crack their shield at most)
What’s your ping? I’ve got fibre (1ms ping in some lobbies) and feel like I die to people with higher ping all the time like this. It feels like you’re at a disadvantage for having a better internet connection.
If I play on NA servers with my friends from there I have 90-100ms ping but it never feels like I lose in this way, it almost feels more responsive to my shots, and sometimes I win fights I feel like I shouldn’t.

Are you playing on a monitor? Turning off vrr helped for me. Currently on a ps5 and lg 27″ oled monitor.
Buy something from the store /s
Any idea what your latency typically is? If it’s in the 50-70 range you’ll probably get bullied by people in the 10-30 range all day
