CS is slowly falling into the same hole Valve threw TF2 into before forgetting about it, no major updates, rampant cheating and bugs, only updates are content taken from the community #FixTF2

All I want is militia back. And assault that would be nice. I don't care about any of these maps aside from pool day and that should be in deathmatch. Very underwhelming

This community is so far gone. To think an Operation is content when you get 3 more slot machines is just insane to me. Just use a fkg skinchanger if you really need other looking pixels or except you're a gambling addict and go gamble somewhere with better odds. I miss the time CS was a community game, where sprites are just interchangeable and gameplay was king. Now people cry in joy if they get community made stuff and can gamble for it.
Forget about the cash grab typa new features and a new Operation, we do actually need only one thing: A working goddamn Anti-Cheat. If they insist pushing a update that contains a Community made maps and a simple* UI(MVP) change, at least they could've activate OVERWATCH, fix the Trust Factor, and make ACTUAL changes on ranking system because it's literally unplayable at this point. I, myself as a 10 years of CS player, I quit CS and refuse to play until it's getting fixed

Cs2 needs invasive anti cheat like valorant. I don't understand why they are so against it as legit players would be more than happy to accept invasive anti cheat.

There is no operation, because that would involve Valve having to actually work on their products, and that is just not their thing.
Is there anything stopping Valve from performing the operation for currently added maps?
Operation wouldn't be so enjoyable with the cheating problem still unsolved, so I'm glad they haven't released it yet
If the community map developers were hard at work making maps wth was valve doing 😅 they should’ve dropped the community maps in the operation
We've gotten 2 "big" updates in cs2 and we all know they cant count to 3…

I'm pretty sure there wont be an operation before shanghai major as they want to re-introduce overpass with gameplay changes into the active duty pool. They would probably use this time to create a 2024 Overpass collection.
I think danger zone and a new case will release together before shanghai major though
None of this matters without a working anti cheat
A 'huge update' would be an anti cheat and overwatch for all players with 1k+ hours. Or release of the missing game modes. An operation or more skins would make nothing better.
