I’m saving for a dedicated device for CODM (and eventually WZM). I’ve never owned either, but I’ve been doing some homework on these two options. Any pros and cons of having either would be greatly appreciated! I will be streaming and recording gameplay with the device I end up with. Thank you in advance for any advice!

Never owned an iPad, but I did had an rog phone, and it was the best gaming phone I’ve had. At the moment I own a red magic, and I’d say I prefer the rog by a mile. I’ve seen the specs of the rog 8, and I would buy it without thinking it twice.
I hear great things about the ROG. I picked iPad Pro for my eyes sake đ
I play on iPad Pro and everything is lot better. Easier to see with bigger screen. Spec wise the M2 or even M1 would be able to run the game smooth with high setting.
Iâm playing on med setting and 120fps though
Big screens are nice, i prefer playing on a phone though. Rog 8 is an insane device

I’d pick rog phone since it’s a dedicated gaming phone and will outperform ipad for years and years but if you prefer a bigger screen with decent specs then go for ipad

Don’t have a rog phone but its a big difference (literally) playing on a phone and ipad (or any tablet)

Itâs pretty easy to answer⊠ipads are at least as powerful as rog phones, half the price, way bigger so you have better visibility and can do 3+ fingers much easier. Itâd be braindead asf to choose a phone.
(Unless you dont have a normal phone, in which case get the rog bc you canât carry an ipad in your pocket)
Both have their own advantages. You can use rog as your personal phone too but on iPad, you’ll have to use a separate phone. IPad has a bigger screen and is much optimized for codm. And in future if you have plans to play wzm, iPad is by far the best device to run that game. Rog has other features tho, like cooling fan, triggers, gaming mode etc, which are kinda cool for a mobile device. Ipad on the other hand, is just superior to rog in terms of performance even without these features. Now you choose, what you want from a device.
Ipad pro! Games are more optimized on the ipad and it sucks for us android… Tab S8+ would heat up while playing BR with friends on discord on the same device.. no comment on the rog though

Neither. Get the Redmagic 8S Pro or 9 Pro. Way less than the ROG phone and it’s just as good.
I have the last 3 Asus phones and now prefer the Redmagic
