Imagine paying money, to buy yourself skins that makes you distracted, and makes it more difficult to focus. Completely wasted concept on game like cs.
i hav no understanding for not wanting animated skins. ur literally playing with cotton candy knives and anime augs. we already are beyond the point of no return
some of those animated skins can be replicated in CS2 when the gun fires and the muzzleflash illuminate some portion of texture on gun, AWP lightning strike can take an advantage from this. make the thunder lines illuminated by muzzleflash
Animated skins would be a cool thing IF it was a toggle, but Valve wouldn't put out money for animating every skin, just for a few people that wouldn't toggle it off.

The lightning strike and avalance ir actually crazy. I actually would like that. The literally moving parts i agree would be trash. + There is already similar concept on mac10 i dont know the name of that anime piece of shit skin. But eyes lit up while you shoot.
I dont get whats wrong with animated skins when half the guns are unrealistic colorful anime. As long as there is a option to disable and enable the animation I dont see how its bad

animations should only be used for practical effects like lightbulbs, display panels, polymer shells, ect.
