It’s got a core 2 duo e6550, an ati sapphire x1650 I pulled from my dad’s old pc (that thing had an Athlon xp in it, unfortunately it was in a powersuge and only the card remained, it was thrown out before I could test any other components), 3 gigs of ram (probably will upgrade that), two HDDs (I had to get a cable for the second one, my xubuntu install got borked)

**This is a permanent setup, as it’s my only computer**

As for what it can run, well, it can run Firefox I guess, so that’s an accomplishment (I also tried og half life, ran great)

So… If that’s your only computer and you don’t have any budget for significant upgrades, I’ll recommend you installing an SSD first. Those HDDs are pretty old and can fail in any moment.

That Core 2 Duo is slightly capable on Xubuntu (Had an E4600 on it, the think… works), and that Sapphire will be bad but not *that* bad.

Other thing, disassemble the thing and give it a clean. That PC’s got the Curse of Ra right there.
