Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It is the twentieth game in the Call of Duty series, and third entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series, serving as the sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare II.
The game is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, as part of a single cross-game launcher, known as Call of Duty HQ.[1][2] A full reveal of the game took place on August 17, 2023.[3]
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft Windows. It is the nineteenth game in the Call of Duty franchise, and the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Its logo was revealed on April 28th, 2022 and it is set to be released on October 28th, 2022.
Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game released on March 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. A version for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S has been announced to be released sometime in the future. The game is a part of 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and is connected to 2020’s Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War and 2021’s Call of Duty: Vanguard and was introduced during Season 2 of Modern Warfare content. Warzone is developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software (the latter later credited as the sole developer following the integration of Cold War’s content) and published by Activision. Warzone allows online multiplayer combat among 150 players, although some limited-time game modes support 200 players. Other modes include Plunder, Rebirth Resurgence, Buy Back Solos and others. The game features both cross-platform play and cross-platform progression between three games.
