  1. the glass gun is a cool effect but having it over the whole gun feels lazy. This technique should be used as part of a skin, like maybe to accent parts of the gun that doesn’t have moving parts inside (i.e. the stock and sights) since as far as I know the skins currently in the game don’t break their functionality like in Valorant (I know the comparison is lazy, I don’t hate Valorant, glass skins work there cause there’s literally magic in that universe).

  2. Im amazed that no one is taking rocket league inspired black market decals and make skins for CS2 as a concept that MAC-10 that anomaly likes its the same as the wheels from rocket league called infinium wheels. It has the same effect too.

  3. I want some crazy skins like this added, as long as its some what realistic/based in realism and not some weird valo shit

  4. I feel like this skin is like superhot. The game originally released for desktop and it was cool. But it wasn't until the vr port that the genius of the game was encapsulated. Someone needs to that this shader technique and really put an artistic touch on it.

  5. They won't add a new case until cs2 is feature complete. Cause just play it out in your head. Valve adds a case but they still haven't 'finished' the game. People will bitch and moan like no tomorrow.

  6. The next case they release better have like 100 skins in it ffs. Since cs2 there have been 1000 perfect skins to add to the game 🤦‍♂️

  7. to be honest, I'd much rather have valve upgrade a lot of the official and/or simple skins to the new models rather than just forget about them and add new skins and a new case.
There are so many very basic skins that didn't upgrade to new models when there are skins similar in detail level which have been ported over.
There has also been skins that were upgraded to the new model but were later downgraded to the legacy models for unexplained reasons.

Though I think the absolute most important thing is to adress radical changes to certain skins post-beta, especially the dopplers and blue steels received humongous changes without anyone's prior knowledge, which caused massive price changes in the market.

Emeralds and Sapphires have great yet much cheaper alternatives, Blue Steels changed so much they're not even comparable to what the skin looked like anymore.

I think the best fix to this is to apply what valve already has for a different game of theirs, the "Style" system from TF2 where players can pick what version of the item will be shown, so if some one had a blue steel that looked really bright and nice that just looks like a shiny Night right now, they can toggle back to the old version at any time.

  8. You know, for once I would argue in favour of that skin giving an advantage. Not in the average game, but in more intense games? Oh yeah absolutely. It's like you said about not being able to find it, imagine you're on an eco round and your enemy has an AK, you manage to get the kill on him with your last cz clip, and then you scramble to find that invisible AK while his buddy comes around the corner and smokes you. Small likelihood of happening, but yeah that absolutely could ruin a round lmao.

  9. I think it was Gaben that said "This ain't Valorant motherfucker! We're fucking terrorists up in this bitch!" Or something like that…
