Im all in on CS2. Just bought my first pair of gloves and couldn't be happier. The game feels decent to me, isnt as clean as CSGO, but as stated it will all come with time as well as additional content. Valve is obviously going to focus on whats important to the vast majority of players and it seems like that is what they provided us. I just hope that the lesser used features of CSGO get added so it doesnt feel like a step backwards.

It just so happens this time it is purely cosmetic. Usually its because a certain pro player "has that thing" or a new case was dropped with a neat new thing. I can go back and look at items I sold years ago (I actually just did a market review of my sales/purchase to see how well I'm playing the market) for dirt cheap, that are now worth 10x's what it was then. And I can also find stuff that was expensive then, that has steadily declined over time because its not the new shiny thing. The cs market works much like the stock market. It's going to have wild swings when things look different, or new things are introduced. That is the literal economy of the system.
I’m predicting a huge crash in price in 6-18 months from now. What goes up must come down. And it went up pretty damn quick. Cs2 is kinda shite rn and my guess is player count will dwindle once there’s no more hype and valve takes 1-2 years to have the game actually polished. I could be wrong but that’s just my gut feeling.
