  1. World of Warcraft was the first map where I was impressed by the size. When that thing first came out, it seemed mind-boggling that you could run from one end to the other and it would take hours to do. I'm replaying it now, and it's still pretty impressive

  2. Falcon, no shade whatsoever but your narration has always been generally monotone, and I thought it was just a stylistic choice. This delivery is awesome, love hearing you get animated. More of this for sure, great stuff.

  3. I think we may need to differentiate between kinds of game maps. Like Vehicle maps, Foot maps, & Generated maps.
I'm playing Starfield, & I'm already running out of things to do. I'm not really a shooter fan, so there is a limit to the amount of guys in spacesuits I can shoot.

  4. "It's not code that did it, but maybe it is, who knows?! OoOoOooOOohhHHhHH"
HAHAHAHA maybe we are all in a simulation inside of Todd Howard's head?

  5. Dyson Sphere Programme
tasked with building a dyson sphere , it models a vast star cluster – all with real modelled stars , solar systems and planets to explore and strip of resources
red giants , down to neutron stars and black holes , and with "realistic" travel times , that include slower / faster than light travel methods
you should REALLY check it out

  6. I bought Elite Dangerous but damn, I am too stupid for it. I Event not able to enter a Space Station.

If it would have the smooth Controls of No Man Sky, I absolutly would love it 😂

  7. Does starfield REALLY have a bigger explorable world considering 99% of the planets are barren and unexplorable?

  8. Both Daggerfall and Starfield are highly procedurally generated; if they're in, No Man's Sky should also.

  9. You should include Star Citizen more, it’s a great game with a massive map

  10. I feel like day Z should've been number ten , because of its accuracy to scale and sheer size

  11. “but the average size is gotta be going up overtime right?” 😔

  12. Was the commentator drunk or something doing this? lol corny af

  13. So wait starfield which is randomly generated outside of a handful of planets counts but nomansky doesn't count for the same reason what stupid reason is that

  14. This is why I absolutely love the Yakuza games (and the Judgement games). Their maps are small by today’s standards, but they’re absolutely packed full of content that put even GTA to shame. Yakuza 5 came before GTA V, but had 5 medium sized maps with tons of sub stories (side quests) and mini-games, and then just things to do for fun. Not to mention, that because of their compact size, by the time you’re done with the game, you learn almost every nook and cranny of each map. The game map that’s repeated throughout the series, Kamurocho, is like travelling to a place you know by heart.

Once upon a time on the PS5 Edition, I fell through the world map after zapping myself in pond with a powerful spell. I was teleported into a forbidden chunk of the map, a low detail, mountainous horizon in the northwest. After wandering a while ascending towards potato plateau, I was sent to an infinitely idle loading screen. The screen attempted to load me into the city where the guy resembling Hugo from thr show Lost resided.
