A look at 100 obscure PC games that were released in 1995!
Note that in breaking tradition with the previous 5 videos in this series, this video includes games for Windows ’95.
Many of these games were “bandwagon jumpers” – lots of first person shooters (“Doom-likes”) and multimedia CD-ROM based point and click adventures (“Myst-likes”)
A few of these titles were actually fairly well-known at the time (e.g. “FX Fighter”) – but have completely faded into obscurity and remain mostly unheard of for people who weren’t actually PC gamers at the time.
Also note that Korean software developers were really taking off; they were bringing quality console style gaming titles to PC – most of which were never released in the West, unfortunately.
Overall, the production of games was becoming more professional; even shareware games were much more polished than shareware titles from a few years ago. And of course, the advent of Windows 95…

The only games I recognize are IM Meen, Virtual Stupidity, and Quarantine II.
For 1996, I have a couple suggestions.
Pink Panther: Passport to Peril and JumpStart Adventures: 4th Grade- Haunted Island.
The latter of which is a rare game thanks to its short production and getting replaced by Sapphire Falls. This was probably because Haunted Island may have traumatized kids as its about as scary as an actual horror game.

Man, nothing here truly caught my eye. In fact, I had to check to make sure Warhammer Shadow of the Horned Rat was actually realeased in 1995 just to be sure that a good game released that year.
