I did a similar thing with an HTC 10. I first replaced the antenna with one of my own design, it didn’t work any better than the stock one. A lot goes into antenna design, I thought it was just more surface area. (I was 16 when I did it). I found a suitable upgraded panel for the screen, touch never quite worked but it did have better resolution. I replaced the battery with a larger cell and upgraded the cooling as I had it overclocked, granted I just had a small heatsink thermal epoxied to the heat spreader. I dremeled a hole in an OtterBox case and that was the phone’s new shell as the lower half was destroyed from taking it apart so many times, not to mention the battery and heat sink wouldn’t fit.
