I hate the trend of just bashing CS2 because of Nostalgia. People forgot how DOGSHIT CS GO was with it's HORRIBLE 64 tick servers and one ways and pletora of bugs and NO ANTICHEAT (Does this last one sound familiar ?)
CS2 is an improvement on ALL POINTS and if you think it's not, you have a nostalgia problem.

As nice as it is for Valve to address a common grievance, I think it breaking Surf and allowing players to take One Giant Leap For Mankind is a good argument for them to have an actual beta branch for fundamental tweaks like this, even if the hotfixes come soon after. Better to let the testers find the bugs instead of the entire playerbase.

Saying we always had these issues is just flat out wrong. Jumping in CS:GO was consistent in 99% of the cases (maybe only not for max height box jumps??), but for everything else it was.
valve's approach to "fixing" issues is driving me nuts. "ah yeah send me the broken lineups"…not fixing the math the server calculates to keep them consistent? The game engine is cooked if they can't actually fix the root of the problem
it's amazing that after a year of this garbage being forced on players, it's still being updated only to continue being worse than it was before. thanks valve

The thing with the jump bug is it was a 1/100 in CSGO, it was a 9/10 in CS2..

It's a well known bug in Quake 2 used to take advantage of certain jump spots.

Cs2 is broken beyond imagination. Network engine is awful for a 202x game, sometimes I feel cs1.5 being more consistent and precise than this shit.

Stamina is good to know about. It is significant enough to deserve its own number in the UI along with heath, ammo, round number, star sign, etc.
