The 5 Year Veteran Coin was first awarded as part of the August 22, 2013 Update;
The 10 Year Veteran Coin was first awarded as part of the December 17, 2018 Update;
As far as I know, the data is counted since Steamworks started session trackings in 2008, so not since you have first played a CS game (if that happened before 2008).
This means that a 15 Year Veteran Coin is due since the second half of 2023, being over a year late and counting.
A 20 Year Veteran Coin will be expected in 2028, but until then we have to receive the 15 Year Veteran Coin first.

who says that its 5 year intervals? could be 5, 10, 20. There could also be a limit, the 10 year coin might be the last. Why would you think a coin is due?

Why do we **have to**? 5, 10, 20 makes perfect sense to me.
